Good to know before you book.
Booking and payments
How do I book a room?
Choose a room, pick your date and time on that room’s page or on the Calendar, and pay online. Your time is confirmed once payment is complete and you have agreed to the rental terms in the booking form.
Do you offer refunds?
No. Payment is due in full at the time of booking and all payments are non-refundable once your booking is confirmed.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Yes, with at least 24 hours notice before your start time. You can move your booking to a new date or keep the amount as studio credit for a future session. Payments are not refunded.
Why does my statement say Cosmetic Marketing?
Relic15 Studio is a division of Cosmetic Marketing, so all studio transactions are processed under that name.
Rates
How much does it cost to rent a room?
Every room is $75 for 30 minutes or $110 per hour. The angel wings in Studio C are included.
What are the Christmas set rates?
Studio A Christmas sets run October 17 through January 5. Rates are $75 for 30 minutes, $110 for 1 hour, $185 for 90 minutes, $891 for 9 hours and $990 for a full 10 hour day.
What happens if I go over my time?
Your rental starts exactly at your scheduled time and includes setup and breakdown. Going over by 15 minutes or more is charged at the hourly rate, and additional fees may apply if overtime affects the next renter. During the Christmas sets, we ask everyone to shoot within their booked block, including breakdown, due to the number of bookings each day.
Do you offer memberships?
Yes. The Relic15 Members Club gives regular shooters monthly studio hours, styled content days and savings on every shoot. Request a membership on the Membership page.
The studio
When is the studio open?
Around the clock. Book any day and any time, 24/7.
What gear is in the studio?
Continuous lights with soft boxes, C-stands, and event tripods to hold your phone for behind the scenes clips. Every room also has large windows for natural light.
Can I move the furniture?
Studio B, The Blush Den, is a set room and cannot be moved or modified. Studio C has minimal furniture you can arrange to your liking. Otherwise, leave furniture in its original position unless approved beforehand. Never drag furniture across the wood floors, and anything larger than a single chair needs two people to lift.
Does the person who booked need to be there?
Yes. The person who signs the rental agreement must be present for the entire rental.
House rules
Is there anything I cannot do in the studio?
No smoking inside the studio or in the stairwell. No glitter sessions. Nothing may be hung on the walls without approval, and all production activity stays inside the studio. The building is over 100 years old and sound travels, so please keep noise within the studio. Minors must be supervised at all times.
Is there a cleaning fee?
Only if it is needed. Return the studio, furniture and equipment the way you found them. A $100 cleaning fee is invoiced if the studio is not returned to its original condition.
What if something gets damaged?
Report any damage right away. The renter is responsible for repair or replacement costs caused by them, their crew, clients or guests, payable within 5 business days.
